"Hey Miles! Thank you for helping Marty get to the next level! He's had previous training where he learned basic commands but still had problematic behaviors I could not fix. He was highly reactive and had no recall. It was so bad that walking had to be done only at specific times and places to avoid other dogs. His recall was nonexistent, only if/when he felt like it. Now, we walk anywhere, anytime, without worry, and he can be off-leash at parks because he has fantastic recall. Marty's living his best life now! Our next goal is to get on a plane, and now we have the confidence to do it! Your training has been truly life-changing for us!"

"We came to Miles for help with our 8 year old dachshund, Dudley. He’s a sweet dog at heart—but was incredibly stubborn, would not listen, was aggressive toward other dogs, and was becoming more and more protective of our young daughter. When Dudley was a puppy, we followed the treat-focused and positive-reinforcement-only method. It worked for simple things like teaching him to sit, stay, and roll over — but did not help us once Dudley started biting our guest’s ankles unprovoked. We didn’t have proper control over him, and didn’t know where to begin. Miles introduced us to a different training philosophy that worked quickly and has transformed our relationship with our dog. After two weeks at bootcamp and five training sessions, Dudley is now a pleasure to walk, listens attentively, has less anxiety, and honestly seems happier. We’ve seen his mindset shift from “I don’t want to do that” to “I want to do what they’re asking well”. He’s also become trustworthy around our daughter and guests, which has taken a load of stress off of our shoulders. Working with Miles was a great experience. He’s knowledgable, patient, clear, and an obvious dog lover. We’re incredibly grateful that we made the investment to have Dudley properly trained."

"Miles is truly a lifesaver, and I don’t say that lightly. For context, we have a 4 (almost 5) year old Welsh Corgi, Ghost, whom we rescued in 2022 from an abusive home. From the beginning, he struggled with severe reactivity, aggression, fear, and anxiety. He’s incredibly protective of my partner and me, which made everyday situations, especially walks, so challenging. We worked with multiple trainers prior to Miles, but unfortunately, none took the time to truly understand Ghost or his triggers. We were given surface-level advice and, at times, questionable techniques that didn’t feel right or sustainable. Ultimately, nothing created meaningful, lasting change. After dealing with escalating behavior, including bites toward family, friends, and even us..we knew we needed real help. Then we met Miles. From our very first interaction, it was clear he was different. He was thoughtful, patient, and genuinely invested in understanding Ghost. He asked the right questions and, more importantly, stepped in with confidence to demonstrate what was possible. Within minutes, we saw a shift. It was something no other trainer had been able to do. Ghost trained with Miles for about a month in August 2025, and now, seven months later - we can confidently say he is a different dog. Literally! We can go on walks without fear. We can pass other dogs and people without panic. It has completely changed our day-to-day lives. What sets Miles apart is that this isn’t just “training”, it’s long-term transformation. He heavily prepares you with the right tools, structure, and understanding needed to build a better relationship with your dog. He’s also very clear that this is an ongoing commitment, which we truly appreciate. Beyond his skill, Miles is incredibly dedicated to his clients. His follow-up, hands-on support, and genuine care make all the difference. Even with a busy schedule, he takes the time to ensure you and your dog are set up for success. Every single penny was worth it. If you’re struggling with your dog in any capacity, I cannot recommend Miles enough."

"Hi Miles!! Just wanted to say THANK YOU SO MUCH for transforming our Indy girl! From being reactive on the leash towards other dogs and avoiding dogs on our walks so she wouldn't lunge at them... to now being able to walk past every dog in any situation!!! She is so easy to have in public places, she no longer whines or feels anxious - she seems so at ease. We can now confidently take her anywhere and we are all thrilled! It has been a total game changer for our family and we can't wait to keep up the training and watch her become even more of an angel than she already is <3 We appreciate you and everything you do"

"Working with Miles has been a total game-changer for Gigi and me. She used to be extremely reactive to squirrels (among other creatures) making walks stressful and unpredictable. But Miles gave us the tools and structure to completely turn that around. Not only has her reactivity improved dramatically, but her recall and overall listening skills have grown beyond what I thought was possible. Miles is patient, knowledgeable, and incredibly intuitive with dogs. I’m so grateful for the progress we’ve made and would recommend him to anyone looking for real, lasting results."

"Hi Miles! Just wanted to reach out and thank you for all your expertise and great help with Mr. Peanutbutter. It is crazy how much he has improved! We used to be scared whenever we walked outside that we would run into another dog and Mr. PB would freak out and bite us again. But since the training we haven't had any incidents and we've been able to relax when walking with him. He has been much more attentive and respectful of my commands and boundaries. It has been an overall 200% improvement in his behaviour. I already recommended you for a friend! Thank you from me, Serena and Mr. PB!"

"Not sure where to start with Miles… let’s just start with: HE IS THE MAN! The man knows his craft (dog training) AND is down to earth. My wife and I had a hard time connecting with previous dog trainers. That wasn’t the case with Miles. Training with him felt like hanging out and learning with a friend. He made it easy for us to integrate training into our daily life.
Before Miles, Tommy (our dog) could not come within 10 feet of another dog without barking up a storm.
All we wanted was to enjoy walking our neighborhood with Tommy in one hand, and coffee in the other. Miles made that possible.
Every dollar invested in Tommy’s training was worth it and then some. Our happiness and Tommy’s happiness has grown x10. Thank you, Miles!"

"Pancake’s time with Miles was completely transformative. With 3 kids and another dog at home, our house was already hectic and when our sweet new puppy quickly tripled in size from what was expected, it became more than we could manage. Miles created the framework and consistency Pancake needed to master the basics we couldn’t manage (housebreaking, crate training, obedience) and then trained us to understand our dog and maintain and reinforce his new behaviors. Pancake went from being a big, wild, anxious puppy that chewed up our furniture, jumped on the kids, peed in the house and pooped in the car to the sweetest, best behaved dog I have ever had. He rides calmly in the car, sits obediently in his “spot” until I release him, sleeps willingly in his crate and is completely chill around other dogs and all sorts of people. I can take him anywhere with me- walks, shopping, restaurants, parks and now we are perfecting the off leash obedience we started with Miles. I cannot thank Miles enough for helping Pancake to be his best self and turning us into expert dog handlers. Now that I know how well behaved a dog can be I want 5 more!"

"Working with Miles was a game changer and truly improved my dogs and my overall quality of life. I had done other board and trains before with Dante, and while they did a good job of teaching him basic obedience and commands, nothing changed around his reactivity and anxiety. I struggled with the guilt that I was not giving him a good life. Then, I met Miles!
The work Miles did with Dante truly focused at getting at the root cause of his reactivity, addressing his emotional instability and lack of confidence. Miles also made sure I was learning along the way and taught me the consistent behaviors and patterns I needed to reinforce with Dante.
Now, Dante is much more confident, his reactivity is under control and he’s made SO many human friends (something I previously thought wasn’t possible) and I feel confident and skilled in continuing to work with Dante to give him the life he deserves.
Frankie went to Miles as well with no fear, but all chaos! Miles really did a great job teaching Frankie how to channel all her chaotic energy into more focused joy. He also gave me the tools to make sure Frankie’s friendly personality still had the necessary boundaries for her to be out and about in the world. My life with two dogs is fuller and more enjoyable because of working with Miles."

"We just got back from our trip to Rhode Island. Can’t believe how many compliments I got on Eloise’s behavior from friends and family that hadn’t seen her post training. She's so much more relaxed even when Murphy is being naughty. She's also getting much more confident in meeting new humans and dogs. I’ve been bringing her to work, restaurants and never have to stress about her behavior. Anyways, just wanted to say thank you again for all your help getting her to where she is!"

"When we brought home our first French Bulldog, Kyle, we imagined the classic family dog — going on walks, joining us on trips, and being part of everything we do. The reality was… a little different. Kyle refused to walk anywhere (unless being dragged counts), chased the cats, bolted out doors and gates, and basically ran the household while we just supplied the food, shelter, and love. As much as we adored him, having a dog that didn’t listen was exhausting and honestly stressful for the whole family. A friend referred us to Miles and it completely changed things. Kyle now goes on daily off-leash walks, calmly waits when doors are open, and has become the dog we always hoped he’d be. When we brought home our second Frenchie, Chad — who refused the crate and thought peeing inside was a personality trait — we knew exactly who to call. Chad is a changed man too. Miles didn’t just train our dogs; he helped bring peace back to our home and turned our chaotic Frenchies into the family companions we always dreamed of."

""I'm very impressed. When Arlette told me about Miles and his training skills, I wasn't sure I wouldn't agree and to be honest I never thought that in this short period of time Miles could train my puppy (Archie). Surprisingly Miles did it. I can't thank him enough for his hard work and professionalism. He's an amazing person and has unique skills. I can't get the right words to explain how thankful I am. Miles is one of the best!""
